Journey to us
The best way to get to the Festspielhaus
-
Convenient train connections to Vienna and Linz every half hour and until after midnight make traveling by ÖBB or WESTbahn particularly attractive.
It takes about 10–15 minutes to walk from St. Pölten train station to the Festspielhaus. -
From the train station (exit towards the center), turn left to Sparkassenpark. From there, a signposted path leads you in the direction of the cultural district (Sparkassenpark, Parkpromenade, Hammerweg).
Or take a cab! There is a cab rank in front of the station. -
Travel comfortably from Vienna: At selected events, a shuttle bus from Elite Tours will take you directly to the Festspielhaus and back for EUR 16 (EUR 13 with a subscription and for anyone under 26) (free program booklet included).
Book your ride online (directly at the respective event), at the St. Pölten ticket office or via Elite Tours T: +43 1/513 22 25 18
Please note that we can only guarantee you a fixed place on the bus if you book early!
